Heidi Montag, former star of MTV's "The Hills," took pity on Amanda Bynes — who's had psychiatric troubles, money troubles, and seems to be homeless — by offering her a place to stay.
"I was not given money for a hotel so I have been staying with friends and I didn't get enough sleep last night so I fell asleep on a couch at the beverly center and a paparazzi snuck in and took pictures of me FYI!" Bynes tweeted Thursday,
Us Weekly reported.
"I hate my parents for still not giving me money for a hotel. What is wrong with them? My lawyer is working to have them fully removed from being my conservator because they don't deserve control over my money — They are miserable in their life and I will fight to get control of my finances taken away from them!" she explained.
At the conclusion of her posts, Montag stepped up, offering Bynes a place to hang her hat.
Bynes has had a rough 2014 so far.
She's gotten a DUI arrest, been accused of shoplifting from Barney's department store, and, according to a recent report, been making "extensive" purchases of high-end jewelry and other items that she often gives away to strangers — draining her bank account.
She's also gone on a number of bizarre Twitter rants, some of which included sexual abuse allegations against her father, which she later retracted by saying a "microchip" implanted in her brain was controlling her.
Because of the strange and destructive behavior, her parents and family staged a surprise intervention last month, and had her committed to a psychiatric clinic for help. She was recently released, and is reportedly surviving on $50 and $100 gift cards allotted by her parents,
according to TMZ.
