Hero Monkey Saves KO'd Pal Who Got Shocked (Video)

To the cheers of onlookers, a monkey saved the life of another monkey who was knocked out after being shocked by electrical wiring on a rail track in India.

A crowd looked on in awe at a railway station in the northern Indian city of Kanpur as the one monkey came to the rescue of  the other monkey that fell unconscious after being shocked while walking on high tension wires above the station, reported Reuters.

The monkey tried everything to revive it – hitting, biting and dipping it in water – but nothing seemed to work.

Then after more than 20 minutes, the unconscious monkey began to show signs of life again, prompting cheers from train travelers for the monkey's heroic act.
