Honda has built the world’s fastest lawnmower, a 109-horsepower monster that can go from 0-to-60 in four seconds and tops out at speeds in excess of 130 mph.
Hank Hill, the main protagonist in the hit Fox comedy cartoon "King of the Hill," would be proud.
Motor Trend notes that the Japanese automaker crafted this beast by incorporating a 1000cc engine from the Honda VTR Firestorm into a re-engineered Honda HF 2620 Lawn Tractor. The mower has custom-made Cobra seats and a Scorpion exhaust system, along with suspension and tires from a Honda ATV.

It can only cut grass at 15 mph, though, but that didn't stop lawn-lovers from wanting one.

Yahoo! Autos, called the mower “perhaps the most extreme case of overkill since the resurrection of New Kids On The Block.”
Lloyd quickly added, however, that “while it’s easy to ridicule such a silly concept, watching the video (produced by Honda and making the rounds on the Internet), it’s impossible not to want one. It looks exquisitely engineered and promises to make the hateful task of mowing the lawn exciting.”
Perhaps the most salient question was asked on Twitter by @theoncominghope: "But why?"
Fox News notes that the so-called Mean Mower is a one-off project “intended to highlight the breadth of Honda’s product offerings and promote its sporty heritage ... and not destined for Home Depot or your front lawn.”
