New photos of the upcoming iPhone 6 have possibly revealed the exact dimensions of the device at the same time that credible sources are confirming previous rumors of a potentially higher price point.
Pictures of the phone's alleged schematics and manufacturing molds surfaced on China's most popular social media site, Weibo, and were
reported by GforGames.com.
"If these are legit, and if Foxconn [Apple's contracted factory] is starting to make these [molds], it means that the iPhone 6 will soon go into mass production. Or at least the chassis will," the site explained.

MacRumors.com also reported this week on pictures that surfaced showing the alleged front panel of the device, which would confirm earlier rumors that Apple will upgrade the iPhone 5's 4-inch screen to a 4.7-inch screen for the new model. No pictures surfaced of the rumored "phablet" with a 5.5-inch screen, however.
It still remains to be seen when the phone might actually hit stores, with various rumors pegging it as early as May and as late as September.
Jeffries global investment bank also reported this week that Apple will indeed seek a higher price point for the next generation phone and/or phablet.
According to VentureBeat, Jefferies' Peter Misek said, "Apple has started negotiating with carriers on a $100 iPhone 6 price increase."
If this is true and if the carriers agree to the increase, they would likely absorb the cost or part of the cost in subsidizing the phone over the short term, and figure out how to pass on the cost to consumers over the long term.
