Jacob Moore became Larry Nassar's first male accuser to come forward in a lawsuit in a new federal complaint against the disgraced former USA Gymnastics team doctor.
In the new complaint, Moore, 18, a University of Michigan gymnast, charged that he was seeking treatment for a shoulder injury at 16 in 2016 when Nassar allegedly invited him to his home basement, The Daily Beast reported.
Moore described the doctor's alleged conduct afterward as "sexual assault, battery, abuse, molestation, and harassment" for the former doctor's "sexual pleasure and gratification," the Daily Beast reported.
Moore's older sister, Kamerin Moore, was one of the more than 150 women and girls who gave victim impact statements in a Nassar sentencing in January, charging that the doctor abused her, The Daily Beast reported.
The former Michigan State University athletics doctor was sentenced to a maximum 275 years in prison in connection with the sexual assault case involving athletes with USA Gymnastics and the university, per the website.
Jacob Moore was a member of the U.S. men's junior national gymnastics team from 2015-17, according to the online magazine International Gymnast. Kamerin Moore mentioned her brother's case during her January court statement, charging that there was no legitimate medical benefit to the "treatment" Nassar provided to him.
In another amended complaint, gymnasts charged USA Gymnastics, gymnastics club Twistars, 2012 U.S. Olympic head coach John Geddert, and Nassar of violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, commonly known as RICO, stated International Gymnast.
The lawsuit charged that the defendants essentially formed an enterprise for mutual financial benefit and "engaged in racketeering activity to wit sex trafficking of children by fraud," the gymnast magazine wrote.
"The purpose of the enterprise in part was to create a system by which defendant Nassar was enabled to engage in commercial sex acts with young gymnasts through a fraudulent representation that he was engaged in legitimate medical treatment," the complaint read, according to International Gymnast.
"The enterprise engaged in fraud by either knowingly or with reckless disregard of the truth, affirmatively representing to gymnasts and the public at large that defendant Nassar was a competent and ethical physician," it continued.
