Disney actor and YouTube star Jake Paul is speaking out for the first time since the FBI raided his Los Angeles mansion and seized several firearms last week. In a now-deleted video, the internet sensation attempted to set the record straight by dismissing various rumors that have emerged since the incident.

"Just to clarify things and set the record straight, the FBI raid is entirely related to the Arizona looting situation that happened," Paul said in the video cited by Entertainment Tonight. "It's an investigation. There are rumors about it having to do with so many other things that have nothing to do with me or my character and the s--t that people are making up is absolutely absurd."

Paul also made it clear that he would not tolerate "malicious" people in his life.

"That being said, when I become aware of someone around me who is doing malicious things they are immediately cut out of my life," he continued. "I don't put up with bulls--t, I don't surround myself with bad people. If someone does something bad, they will be removed from my life."

It was initially unclear why the raid had taken place, but sources claimed it was linked to a riot at Arizona's Scottsdale Fashion Square in June. Paul, who appeared in the Disney Channel TV show "Bizaardvark," was involved in the incident and was charged with criminal trespass and unlawful assembly, Scottsdale Police Department said at the time.

According to police, Paul was present after the protest was declared an unlawful assembly and the rioters were urged to leave the area. He entered the mall when it was closed and remained there. He claimed to have been looking for people protesting George Floyd's death.

A spokesperson for the FBI in Phoenix later confirmed the speculation.

"The FBI is investigating allegations of criminal acts surrounding the incident at Scottsdale Fashion Square in May 2020," the spokesperson told Fox News at the time. "This morning the FBI executed federal search warrants in California and Las Vegas, Nevada in connection with this investigation. The search warrant affidavits are sealed and we are, therefore, prohibited from commenting further."
