Refunds for Janet Jackson concert tickets remain in limbo after the star announced Wednesday that she would postpone her world tour.
Ticketmaster sent ticketholders for Jackson’s "Unbreakable World Tour" an email explaining that until official word is given about the cancellation or rescheduling of the shows, refunds won’t be issued,
TMZ reported.
Jackson, 49, announced Wednesday that she was putting the tour on hold in order to start a family.
“Please, if you can, try to understand that it's important that I do this now,” she said in a video. “I have to rest up. Doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
The New York Daily News noted that this week’s announcement is the second cryptic delay for the tour. In December, the singer postponed the tour until spring because of an unspecified surgery.
Fans took to Twitter to vent their frustration.
