Jen Arnold's cancer did not take center stage on Tuesday night's episode of "The Little Couple" on TLC as it has for much of the season. Instead, Arnold enjoyed some much-needed family fun in San Francisco.
In the episode, Arnold and her husband Bill Klein enjoy a carousel ride with their two adopted children, Zoey and Will. They also attend a medical convention, where Arnold was a keynote speaker. Arnold is a neonatologist, which is a pediatrician specially trained to help babies who require special care due to an illness, injury, or birth defect.

Last year, Arnold was
diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. As of February, the cancer was said to be in remission.
In a December interview with The Huffington Post, Arnold said that she was "currently undergoing treatment, including surgery and chemotherapy."
"I am very fortunate as the prognosis is good," Arnold added. "While there is never a good time to get news like this, getting it just as we are building our new family is tough in many ways . . . But being surrounded by the love of my husband and our two beautiful children is actually in many ways giving me the strength to fight it even stronger."
Since her cancer diagnosis, Arnold has been taking it easy. The family's trip to San Francisco is their first trip with adopted daughter Zoey, who, according to Arnold, has shown a love for shopping.
"We haven't taken her to many stores since we brought her home because we've been on lockdown," Arnold said during Tuesday's show, as Zoey ran about a store and pulled items off shelves. "So I think she was just having a blast, checking it all out. I've definitely found my shopping partner in crime."
"Zoey seems to love getting into things. She is curious and playful," Klein added. "She is also pretty good at cleaning up after she has played with toys at home, so we are hoping that translates into the store too."
