Actress Jennifer Lawrence apparently has reached an agreement on a three-year, $15 million to $20 million extension with Dior for her role as spokeswoman.
Lawrence, who won a Best Actress Oscar last year for “Silver Linings Playbook” and stars in the Oscar-nominated hit “American Hustle,” became a spokeswoman for the Paris fashion house after starring in the first “Hunger Games” film.

“I was ... struck by her incredible on-screen presence in these blockbuster films, but also ... by her powerful interpretations of subtler, more rounded characters,” Dior creative director
Raf Simons said of the 23-year-old star at the time, according to the New York Post's Page Six.
Page Six noted that not long after the deal was signed, Lawrence was “creating memorable awards-show moments in Dior designs.” One of those moments came when Lawrence went to accept the Best Actress Award at the Screen Actors Guild last year and a panel of fabric was accidentally exposed on her tiered, blue gown. Though it was far from a Janet Jackson-esque moment, many viewers were left wondering if the dress fell apart. The designer noted it was just the gown’s “tulle and satin” layers that were seen. No malfunction, Dior insisted, occurred.
During the Academy Awards show, she fell while walking up the stairs in a Dior outfit.
Page Six cited a source as saying no deal has yet been signed, “but Jennifer’s had a great relationship with Dior to date, and is open to the idea of continuing a partnership.”
E! News says a deal has been signed.
Twitter was happy about the continuing partnership.
