"The Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence reportedly declined a date with Britain’s Prince Harry.
The prince had an aide invite the actress to dinner and to see Kensington Palace,
Contact Music reported, but Lawrence politely declined the invitation.
Lawrence was seen earlier this month with musician Chris Martin from Coldplay. The two had lunch at Tavern on the Green and took a walk through Strawberry Fields,
the New York Post’s Page Six reported.
“They were talking softly to each other throughout the meal. As they left, she changed shoes and her sweater, and she was overheard telling him she wanted to take a walk through Strawberry Fields, and they left holding hands,” an onlooker told the publication.
Martin recently finalized his divorce from actress Gwyneth Paltrow.
"They (Martin and Lawrence) see each other when they can, yet each continues to do their own thing,"
an unnamed source said, according to People magazine. "Both have full plates, and they like it that way."
Prince Harry’s interest in Jennifer Lawrence has long been a subject of gossip.
In 2013, Perez Hilton quoted an unnamed friend calling her Harry's “number-one girl.”
“Harry thinks Jennifer is a girl after his own heart — very chill and out for a good time. Harry is looking for a serious relationship and is ready to settle down. And the way he’s thinking right now he could end up with a Hollywood wife,” the source said.
