Jennifer Lopez has admitted she's been contemplating not marrying Alex Rodriguez. The pair were forced to put their wedding on hold amid the coronavirus pandemic this year and Lopez revealed to Andy Cohen during an appearance on his radio show on Tuesday that she was is now in "no rush" to tie the knot.
"We've talked about (not getting married) for sure," Lopez said in response to a question about Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell's decision to not get married, per Daily Mail.
The "In The Morning" hitmaker and Rodriquez got engaged in March and were meant to be married in June but then the coronavirus pandemic hit. During her interview with Cohen, Lopez opened up about the planned nuptials.
"It was really sad because we were supposed to get married in June and we had planned it all. So in March or April, we're looking down the pipe and we're going, 'This is maybe not going to happen,'" she said.
"But the same thing with like the Goldie thing and Kurt, you think, do you have to? Should we?" Lopez added. "It just kind of gave us a moment to pause and think about it. And I think it's something that maybe is still important to us, but there's no rush, you know, there's no rush, it'll happen when it happens."
Lopez expressed similar doubts about her wedding shortly after having to put it on hold. During an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the 51-year-old star said she was uncertain of what the future holds.
"We will see what happens now," she said. "Honestly, I really don't know what's going to happen now as far as dates of anything like that. We're kinda of just in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. Again, it's just something we're going to have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out."
