Jennifer Love Hewitt's racy Lifetime drama "The Client List" got the axe Friday, reportedly after the actress reached a "creative standoff" with producers over how to work her real-life pregnancy into the show.
Hewitt, 34, announced back in June that she and co-star Brian Hallisay were engaged and expecting their first child to be born next month. The actress, who plays a masseuse at a happy-ending massage parlor in "The Client List," reportedly asked Lifetime execs to work her pregnancy into the show, and have Hallisay's character be the father.

But,
according to Deadline.com, network bigwigs nixed Hewitt's idea and a deal for a third season was never reached. The show was then canceled on Friday.
Hallisay and Hewitt made headlines in September after getting into an altercation with a paparazzo in Los Angeles. A snap-happy photographer reportedly wouldn't stop taking photos of the couple, so Hallisay scuffled with him and, in the process,
hit him in the face with the camera, according to TMZ.
The pap filed a battery report against Hallisay and police launched a criminal investigation, but it's not clear if anything came of the incident.
