Jep Robertson, One of 'Duck Dynasty's' Bearded Brothers, Suffers Seizure

Jep Robertson, costar of the A&E hit series "Duck Dynasty," is recovering from a seizure he suffered earlier this month during a hunting trip with friends.

Robertson was hunting at an undisclosed location Oct. 19 when the seizure struck, according to TMZ, which noted that he did not suffer any paralysis or permanent damage. The 36-year-old is the youngest son of family patriarch Phil Robertson.

The celebrity website said emergency personnel responded to the scene and took Robertson to a local hospital where his brother, Willie Robertson, tended to him. Jep Robertson later posted two notes on Twitter to let his friends and fans know that he was recovering well, even jokingly referring to action actor Steven Seagal.

The Robertson family detailed the seizure incident more in a family statement to E! Online

"Earlier this week while deer hunting, Jep suffered from a seizure," the Robertson family statement read. "Thankfully, he was in the stand with friends, and Willie was at the hunting camp when it occurred so he was by his side in a matter of minutes. He is doing well now, but is still in the hospital for additional tests and observation and he is being treated with antibiotics to cover a range of possible infections believed to have caused the seizure."

Jep, along with brothers Willie, Alan, and Jase, will appear with their father Phil as A&E kicks off the seventh season of "Duck Dynasty" on Nov. 19.
