The Duggar family will soon marry off its first daughter now that Jill Duggar is engaged to Derick Dillard.
Jill Duggar, 22, only recently revealed her courtship with Dillard, a 25-year-old Arkansas native to whom her father introduced her while doing missionary work in Nepal.

"When my dad first introduced Derick and I, we spent hours texting, calling, and talking on Skype while 8,000 miles away from each other. And when we finally met in person in Nepal, we knew within days that we wanted to
spend the rest of our lives together," Duggar told ABC News in a statement.
Duggar and her sisters recently detailed courtship in their new book, "Growing Up Duggar." Courtship involves abstaining from sex and even kissing until marriage.
The newly engaged couple reportedly didn’t even hold hands until they were officially engaged.
"I feel like I'm dreaming," Dillard told People magazine. "It was great to grab her hand for the first time."
The whole Duggar family is excited about the upcoming nuptials.
"They're a match made in heaven and Michelle and I couldn't be more thrilled," dad Jim Bob Duggar told ABC. "We're so grateful to God and look forward to watching their love continue to grow as they prepare for their wedding and future life together. We're not losing a daughter, but rather gaining a son!"
The Duggar family's lives have been chronicled on the TLC reality show "19 Kids & Counting" since 2008. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have 19 children, ranging in age from 26 to 4, and all the kids' names start with the letter "J."
The oldest Duggar sibling, 26-year-old Josh, is married with three kids of his own.
