Jimmy Fallon, Justin Timberlake: 'SNL' Duo Doesn't Disappoint (Video)

Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake teamed up yet again for an amazingly hilarious Christmas episode of "SNL" that included guest appearances from Madonna, Paul McCartney, Barry Gibb, and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

The comedic duo also delivered "SNL's" highest ratings in nearly two years and the most-watched Christmas episode since 2004, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It was TV gold from the very first skit. For the cold opening, Timberlake reprised the "_____-ville" bit that he's done in almost every one of his six "SNL" appearances. The spoof involves the singer playing a strip mall employee who dresses up as various items to try and sell them on the street (previous favorites include "Veganville," "Omeleteville," and "Liquorville"). This time he donned a giant roll of wrapping paper and rapped to try and get people to "bring it on down to Wrappinville." Fallon, dressed as a giant gift bag, joined in.

Timberlake next turned in a perfect Fallon impersonation for a "Family Feud"-themed skit that saw members of CBS sitcoms face off against NBC stars. Fallon was spot-on as Jim Parsons from "The Big Bang Theory," Taran Killam played a hilarious Ashton Kutcher from "Two and a Half Men," and "SNL" cast member Brooks Wheelan played himself — a dig at his barely-there presence on the show.

Apropos of nothing, Madonna appeared in the infamous "Barry Gibb Talk Show" skit where Fallon and Timberlake reprised their parts as Barry and Robin. The real Barry Gibb later joined them onstage for a performance of "Talkin' It Up."

As for the other guest stars, McCartney crooned with Fallon in the opening monologue and Bloomberg dropped by "Weekend Update" to discuss his post-office plans ("I'll be fulfilling a lifelong dream of enjoying a small soda on a non-smoking beach").
