Singers John Mayer and Katy Perry are going to chapel and they're going to get married – eventually, one source told E! News about the celebrity couple's growing relationship.
In a story posted Wednesday, a
source told E! News that Mayer had been spotted ring shopping for Perry.

"It's inevitable," the source said. "Everyone wants them to get engaged. They are so perfect together."
Perry's 14-month marriage to actor Russell Brand ended in February 2012. She has been dating Mayer since the following summer. Between that time Perry had been linked romantically to model Baptiste Giabiconi and guitarist Robert Ackroyd.
Perry told The Hollywood Reporter in 2012 that it was a rough time but she never lost faith in giving romance another try.
"There were times when what was going on in my personal life was so overwhelming that I had to bend over to let those tears fall straight out of my eyes and not my false lashes just as I'm about to go up on that ramp and sing 'Teenage Dream,'" she told The Hollywood Reporter. "I believe in love."
Perry told Entertainment Weekly in October that Mayer was the inspiration for her single "Legendary Lovers" on her current "Prism" album.
"I actually wrote it in an email one time, and after I wrote it I looked — we had a long courtship before anything was (public), just writing letters to each other — and seeing 'legendary lovers,' it sounded so nice," Perry said to Entertainment Weekly. "Some things float into my mind, and I process them, and (then) I make songs about them."
Mayer has been less public about this feelings for Perry in the media but sources say that doesn't mean he's not serious and believe the time is coming where Mayer will talk marriage.
"Everyone knows it's just a question of when John will propose," a source told Us Weekly, about Mayer, who has been linked to Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston, and Jessica Simpson in the past.
