John "Bo Duke" Schneider is picking jail time over paying his ex-wife spousal support, according to The Blast.
The former "Dukes of Hazzard" star has previously spent time behind bars after failing to pay more than $150,000 in delinquent alimony to his estranged wife, Elly Castle, WonderWall reported.
Now he is reportedly asking a judge to send him back behind bars because he cannot pay the spousal support or meet other court demands.
According to The Blast, Schneider had until the end of the year to file his tax returns for 2014 to 2016, obtain all his financial documents and pay his ex-wife half of all his income.
However, in a letter sent to Judge Mark Epstein, Schneider said he admitted with "regret and embarrassment" that he could not complete these conditions.
Citing the public case, Schneider said his career had waned "earlier than ever anticipated" and he was facing financial difficulty.
He asked that the judge remove a suspended sentence of 120 days in jail and said he would accept the punishment for his actions.
Earlier this year Schneider spent five hours in jail for failing to pay his ex-wife the back spousal support.
Before being imprisoned, he said he had a "mountain of debt" to deal with, Fox News reported.
"And there's a group now that somehow feels they're entitled to life or even luxury without work and the judicial system apparently agrees with that," he said, adding that, if he had the money he would have given it to his ex-wife.
"But I don't have it," he said. "Hopefully this is evidence of that."
