An Alabama bar is offering its football-fan patrons a chance to take a whack at Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel a few days before Saturday's matchup with its "Lil' Johnny Pinata."
Notorious rivals Alabama and Texas don't face off until Saturday but Otey's Tavern in Mountain Brook, Ala., has created a 30-inch pinata version of Manziel dubbed "Johnny Pinata."

"We don't know what we are going to do with it besides hang it up in the tavern and see if we can't get some people to come by and take pictures, and then maybe we will have a bashing on Wednesday night,"
Will Haver, Otey's owner, told AL.com. "Or, if he can make it all the way to the football game on Saturday, then after the game, we may do it some more."
The pinata shows Manziel, who's nickname is "Johnny Football," holding a sharpie and a wad of money, a nod to the recent accusations that the defending Heisman winner
made $7,000 signing hundreds of autographs. According to NCAA rules, college athletes are not allowed to accept money for promotion or sale of a product or service. The claims are currently being investigated.
Manziel has also been the focus of much media scrutiny during the past off-season for a series of other controversial public happenings. He's been spotted hanging out with rappers at bars despite not being 21. A few contentious tweets saying he couldn’t wait to leave College Station, the home of Texas A&M, got him in hot water. And in July, he was sent home early from the Manning Passing Academy after
oversleeping and missing a meeting, according to NFL.com.
