Julia Roberts' Mom Dies of Lung Cancer at Age 80

Julia Roberts’ mom, Betty Lou Bredemus, has died at age 80 after battling lung cancer, according to reports.

Bredemus died Thursday in Los Angeles. In addition to Roberts, Bredemus had three other children, Eric Roberts, 58; Lisa Gillan, 49; and Nancy Motes, 37. Motes committed suicide last year.

Bredemus also was the grandmother to actress Emma Roberts, who is Eric Roberts’ daughter.

Roberts is reported to have been close to her mother; In Touch Weekly said Bredemus was living with the actress and her family.
