Newcomer Kacey Musgraves triumphed over big country superstars like Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, and Tim McGraw to win the Best Country Album Grammy Sunday.

Musgraves’ “Same Trailer Different Park” album stole the show from the other stars, and social media relentlessly replayed Swift’s dropped mouth surprise when the winner was announced, although the blonde beauty quickly recovered and clapped for Musgraves.

But even though the Internet couldn't get enough, Cambio reported that Swift actually turned to Ed Sheeran sitting nearby and said, “I told you,” when Musgraves’ name was announced.

Musgraves, 25, was clearly blown away by the honor, stuttering during her acceptance, “Oh my God, I can’t even, I can’t even. ... I got to make a record that I poured myself into and I’m so proud of.”

Musgraves also performed on the show, wowing the audience with flashing cowgirl boots.

Musgraves also won Song of the Year for “Merry Go ’Round.” The up-and-coming country music star appeared on Nashville Star to launch her career, even though she’d previously made three albums.

Parade put together a list of must-knows about the young Musgraves, including the fact that in addition to her singing career, her song-writing talent is already respected. She’s written for Miranda Lambert and Martina McBride.
