In what TMZ calls a "cringe worthy" episode, Kanye West embarrassed himself and some wheelchair-bound concert fans in Australia over the weekend when the rapper with a high estimation of himself and his music refused to continue his concert until everyone stood up for one of his songs.
In a video of the incident, West tells the audience at the Qantas Credit Union Arena in Sydney on Friday night that he can't continue until everyone is up on their feet for his next song, "Good Life."
Some fans start chanting "Stand Up," while others appear to start booing a person sitting until it appears they find out he is in a wheelchair and can't stand up.
"Now, if he is in a wheelchair, it's fine." West said,
according to the Washington Post. Then West asks, just to be sure. "Is he in a wheelchair right there?"

The Post said all the fans nearby acknowledge the man is indeed in a wheelchair.
"Kanye clearly meant well, but it's hard to watch the video without feeling bad for Yeezy's fan," TMZ wrote.
During his concert in Brisbane on Monday night, West appeared to have learned his lesson,
according to the Courier and Mail. At a similar portion of the concert, West asked, "Everybody who is not in a wheelchair or handicapped will (you) stand up," according to the newspaper.
That hardly stopped the criticism against West on social media.
