Karin Dor, the German actress in the 1967 James Bond Film “You Only Live Twice,” died Monday in a Munich nursing home at age 79.

Dor’s son announced her death in the German Bild newspaper, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Dor played villainess Helga Brandt in the film alongside Sean Connery at 007. Her character is dropped into a pool of piranhas because she didn’t kill the British spy.

Dor appeared in many German films about the American Wild West opposite Lex Barker (“Tarzan”), including “The Treasure of the Silver Lake” and “The Valley of Death.” She also had roles in “Topaz,” and Alfred Hitchcock thriller, and “The Invisible Dr. Mabuse” opposite Christopher Lee.

She also worked in the German theater in her later years, even up until late 2016, THR noted.

According to The Bond Bulletin, Dor was having health problems earlier this year that caused her to stop acting on stage, including dizziness and limited function in her right leg.

Some of her health problems may have stemmed from a fall she took in July 2016 that caused a concussion and intracranial injury. She said she may not have given herself enough time to recover from the injury, and still felt dizzy and weak as she performed onstage in Germany throughout the fall of 2016, the Bond Bulletin reported.

Dor's exact cause of death is not known.

Twitter mourned her loss.
