Kate Middleton's Bild piece is not going over well with the British monarchy after the German tabloid included a picture of the Duchess of Cambridge’s bare buttocks in a recent photo spread. The controversial image was reportedly captured by a photographer during the royal family's recent trip to Australia.
The embarrassing picture was taken as a gust of wind from a nearby helicopter ruffled Middleton's dress. The article also featured images of reality TV star sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian, with the photos accentuating their behinds.
According to the International Business Times, the
Bild piece accompanied the photo with this description: "The photos show our favorite Duchess Kate in the Australian Blue Mountains. The rotor blades of the helicopter royal swirl the air so that Kate's summer dress blew up — giving a clear view of the beautiful bum! We've never been so grateful to a helicopter."

The decision to purchase and subsequently publish the revealing photos was made by Bild am Sonntag after several British publications reportedly refused to buy them from the photographer.
A Kensington Palace spokesman declined to comment on the photograph Monday night,
The Daily Mail reported.
During the same Australian-New Zealand tour in which the embarrassing bare-bottom photo was taken, shutterbugs captured another unique shot of the Duchess in which she seemed particularly smitten, if her eyes are any indication, with one of the half-naked, heavily tattooed Maori warriors she met with her husband by her side.
In April of last year the Duke and Duchess launched legal action against France's gossip magazine Closer after it
published topless photos of Middleton taken during the royal couple's honeymoon in September of 2012. The photos were taken while Middleton was sunbathing topless in the south of France.
