Model Kate Upton is furious with Victoria's Secret for using an old photo of her on the back of its latest catalogue, especially after a brand spokesperson dissed her last year.
Upton is featured on the back cover of the lingerie retailer's most recent catalogue modeling a black bra, but the
image is reportedly from a 2011 photo shoot and VS never gave Upton a heads up that they were going to run it now, a source told the New York Post.
"Kate's not currently contracted to work with Victoria’s Secret, and they didn't contact her before they used these images," the source said.

What probably happened is Victoria's Secret did a "buyout" of the images they took of the model in 2011,
giving the brand unlimited use of the pictures, Yahoo! Finance pointed out.
Upton, 20, has a right to be annoyed. Last year, a VS model booker bashed her in a New York Times article.
"We would never use [her]. She's like a Page 3 girl," booker Sophia Neophitou said in 2012. "She's like a footballer's wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy."

Since then though, Upton has skyrocketed in popularity with a couple of Sports Illustrated covers to her name, a spot on this year's FHM Sexiest Women in the World List (she ranked No. 8), and the honor of being June's Vogue cover girl.
