Kathy Griffin is back on President Donald Trump’s case and refusing to apologize any longer for releasing a controversial image showing her holding a bloody replica of the president’s severed head earlier this year.

That was clear in an interview after one of Trump’s more recent social volleys on Twitter attacking a range of topics.

“Why are people still expecting me to apologize and grovel to a man that tweets like this?” Griffin said to The Cut after Trump denounced the investigations into Russian Interference into the election of Nancy Pelosi.

“I’m a comedian; he’s our ----ing president.”

Griffin is speaking out several weeks after she posted the controversial Trump image to social media.

That post sparked massive backlash from Republicans and Democrats alike and, although the comedian later issued an apology, the repercussions of the image were hard felt.

Griffin was fired from her spot as co-host on CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast and various live performances that she had scheduled were canceled along with an endorsement contract.

Adding to her woes, the Secret Service launched an investigation into the post while Griffin beared the brunt of an aggressive public campaign launched against her by the Trump family.

Griffin was forced to publicly apologize on several occasions for her post but, after Trump’s recent spate of tweets, she said she has had enough.

“President Trump just pardoned Joe Arpaio, who was essentially running a concentration camp in the Arizona desert,” she told The Cut.

“He said there are some good Nazis, and he’s kicking out young adults who were brought here as kids by their parents, and I’m the one who has to continue to apologize?”

Griffin is determined not to back down from Trump and, in a new move, has just announced her "Laugh Your Head Off" world tour, which kicks off in October in Auckland, New Zealand.
