Jennifer Aniston slammed Katie Couric on the "Chelsea Lately" show Wednesday night, complaining that the former "Today" show host was getting "tabloid-y" when she quizzed her gal pal Chelsea Handler earlier about Aniston's wedding and going as far as questioning Couric's journalism credibility.
The comments came during a conversation between Aniston and Handler when Handler talked about appearing on Couric's "Katie" talk show March 8, according to the New York Daily News. Aniston has been making the talk show circuit to promote her movie "We're the Millers."

"Katie Couric was asking me on her show about your wedding and I had to act like I didn't even know you were engaged because I didn't know that was out," Handler said.
Aniston snapped back, saying: "What's Katie Couric? Is she a legitimate journalist? Is she getting tabloid-y? Is she on the 'Today' show?"
"She was on the 'Today' show," Handler responded. "She got a demotion to her own show."
Handler clearly looked uncomfortable when Couric pressed Handler about a possible Aniston-Theroux wedding on her show March 8, according to a YouTube clip of the exchange (video below)..
"I don't know about it. She doesn't consult me on her plans," Handler said to Couric then. "I know she's engaged and that's about it."
Couric did not give up, asking if Aniston had asked her to be a bridesmaid and even a flower girl, in an attempt to get news about an Aniston's wedding. Handler did not bite, saying if she ever got married, she wouldn't even have bridesmaids.
"I don't even know what happens at wedding, so I don't know about bridesmaid," Handler said.
"We're the Millers," which will show up in theaters Aug. 7, stars Aniston, Justin Sudeikis and Emma Roberts. It's a story about a veteran pot dealer creates a fake family as part of his plan to move a huge shipment of weed into the U.S. from Mexico, according to IMDb.com.
She will also appear in the comedy "Life of Crime" in September with Tim Robbins and Mos Def.
