Katt Williams gave a wheelchair-bound fan awaiting a kidney transplant $1,000 in cash after his security team noticed the woman crying after the comic's show in Boston Sunday.
Security personnel brought woman backstage, where she explained that she was crying "tears of joy" because Williams' show marked the first time she had laughed since being told by doctors that she
needed a new kidney, according to TMZ.

Williams, 39, was so moved by her story that he left the room briefly, and returned with $1,000 in $100-dollar bills rolled up with a note that said, "God never leaves."
The fan later said the cash was an "awesome surprise."
Twitter users commended Williams for his generous gift.
The good deed paints the funnyman in a positive light after his recent brushes with the law.
Williams was sentenced Tuesday for reportedly
attacking a Target store employee last year in Woodland, Calif. He'll reportedly serve
one year of informal probation and pay a $200 fine, according to Sacramento's KXTV.
"At some point you have to take responsibility for the mistakes and let everybody move on," Williams told reporters earlier this year.
