Keith Carradine will share the small screen with real-life daughter Martha Plimpton on "Raising Hope," when he guest stars as a dude ranch operator.
Carradine, 64, will play Colt Palamino, a character is a singing, technophobic cowboy whose ranch is visited by Virginia (Plimpton) and Burt (Garret Dillahunt),
according to United Press International.

Carradine has also appeared in "Damages" and "Dexter." His acting career began in 1971.
It's a reunion for Carradine and Dillahunt, who appeared together on the HBO series "Deadwood." Dillahunt's character actually killed Carradine's character Wild Bill Hickcock on the show.
"It'll be good to see him," Plimpton said. "And I'm hoping there's no leftover hard feelings over his fake brutal murder by my fake husband!"
"Raising Hope," which airs on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET., stars Lucas Neff as Jimmy Chance, who fathers a daughter with a serial killer during a one-night-stand. Chance earns custody of Hope when her mother is sentenced to death. He receives help from his off-the-wall parents, and great-grandmother, played by comedy legend Cloris Leachman.
The show, created by Greg Garcia ("My Name is Earl"), is scheduled to begin its fourth season Nov. 15. Syndication company 20th Television has sold "Raising Hope" in more than 180 markets, paving the way for a debut, according to Broadcasting & Cable. It is sold in the top 10 markets, including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
Nepitism is common in the entertainment industry. Veteran actor James Caan made a 2012 guest appearance on Hawaii Five-0, opposite his son, Scott Caan.
