Talk show host Kelly Ripa and actor Mark Consuelos tied the knot 17 years ago as of Wednesday. To commemorate the occasion, Ripa posted a photo from their 1996 wedding on her Twitter page.
The photo shows the young couple smiling and staring into each other's eyes. Ripa wore a sparkly light pink gown with spaghetti straps, and Consuelos wore a black dress shirt for the occasion.

On a Tuesday in 1996, Ripa and her “All My Children” co-star boyfriend Consuelos discovered they didn’t just have Wednesday off, but Thursday, too. In a spur-of-the-moment decision, the love birds flew to Las Vegas to get hitched with their extra day off, which is where the photo was taken.
Consuelos, also 42, replied to his wife on the social network.
“We were never engaged,”
Ripa revealed on her morning talk show "Live With Kelly and Michael" last year.
Wednesday morning on her show, Ripa said that she can't believe it's been 17 years since they got married.
"I'm sure it must feel like 200 years for him, but for me, it feels like minutes. It feels like I've blinked my eyes and we've been married for 17 years. Really crazy," Ripa said.
The couple has three children together: Michael, 15, Lola, 11, and Joaquin, 10.
On her show "Live With Kelly and Michael," Ripa joked about May 1 also being National Lei Day.
"I have to bring this home and lei Mark because today is our wedding anniversary," Ripa quipped. "It's only fair that he should also get lei'd."
Ripa has acknowledged that not everything is perfect behind closed doors. Like any couple, they sometimes quarrel.
"I am openly hostile when Mark leaves the toilet seat up," Kelly told People magazine. "I don't think you get past the little pet peeves. We still fight about it. But it's OK to fight about things."
"We're secure with each other. I don't feel like if we have an argument, it will be the end of our lives," she added. "I really do worship Mark. I love everything about him, even his annoying habits."
