Kia K900 V8, Carmaker's First Luxury Sedan, Will Cost Nearly $60K

The 2015 Kia K900 V8, Kia's first foray into luxury sedans, will arrive in the U.S. later this year with a $59,500 price tag.

The new model includes adaptive LED headlights, a power-operated trunk, and 19-inch chrome-adorned alloy wheels in the exteriors. The price excludes a $900 destination charge, according to Speedlux.com.

The 2015 Kia K900 V8's standard interior features include a leather, heated steering wheel, Nappa leather seats and a walnut-colored or wood trim. Heated front seats and a 17-speaker Lexicon audio system are also part of the package.

Speedlux noted earlier this week, Subaru of America revealed details for their lower-priced 2015 WRX and WRX STI models, which are set to arrive at U.S. dealerships in April. Costs range from $26,295 for the 2015 WRX money to $37,395 for the limited-run WRX STI Launch Edition. 

In January, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Mong-koo said sales at Hyundai and its smaller affiliate Kia will likely rise 4 percent in 2014, amid increasing global competition. That figure would be the South Korean's carmaker's lowest annual sales growth since 2003.
