Kourtney Kardashian put rumors to rest that Scott Disick isn't the father of her first child, Mason Disick, after taking a paternity test that confirmed the 3-year-old child wasn't the son of a model.
The DNA test results crush claims from Michael Girgenti, a model, who demanded the test in a paternity lawsuit against the star,
E! News reported Thursday.

"After three-and-a-half years of rumors and lies being spread by an individual I met briefly at a photo shoot, I am setting the record straight that Scott is Mason's father," Kardashian, 34, told E! News. "While it saddens me to have to address these ridiculous lies — especially when the truth was never in doubt — this story must be put to rest."
Girgenti told InTouch magazine in March that he and Kardashian, star of the E! reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," met during a photo shoot for 944 magazine in 2008. He said they had unprotected sex shortly afterward, and their rendezvous was in the same time frame as Mason's conception.
“We started kissing, making out and touching each other," Girgenti said, describing their brief encounter. "We were fooling around on the couch for a little while before I took her to the bedroom. I slipped her clothes off. She helped me undress, and we fell into bed."
Girgenti said Disick and Kardashian were back together when Mason was born but he always believed he was the father.
Kardashian acknowledged working with Girgenti during the photo shoot but her connection with the Los Angeles-based model ends there.
"They did not exchange contact information," Kardashian's attorney said, per InTouch. "Since the August 20, 2008 on-set photo shoot, Kourtney never spoke with him, saw him nor met him again. Kourtney has never been alone with him, and Kourtney certainly has never physically/intimately been with Mr. Girgenti."
Girgenti filed a paternity lawsuit last week, with the goal of gaining joint custody over the child as the father.
Before the DNA test confirmed Girgenti is not the father, Kardashian's attorney Todd Wilson said: "This individual has been selling false and fabricated stories to the tabloids for years about Kourtney Kardashian and her son, Mason."
