Kristen Wiig Stuns in Sia's 'Chandelier' Grammy Performance

Kristen Wiig surprised nearly everyone when she was revealed as the "special guest" in Sia's performance of "Chandelier" at the Grammy Awards Sunday night, setting off a deluge of Twitter responses applauding the "Saturday Night Live" alum's routine with "Dance Moms" star Maddie Ziegler.

"Sia enlisted Kristen Wiig to perform 'Chandelier' at the Grammys on Sunday, turning her performance into one of the night's best moments and the year's strangest and most enjoyable 'Saturday Night Live' sketch that didn't air on 'SNL,'" The Huffington Post wrote.

Shia LeBeouf, who recently starred alongside Ziegler in Sia's music video for "Elastic Heart," introduced the Australian singer with what appeared to be a hand-written poem.

"The scene then cut to some kind of Miss Havisham-esque basement room replete with hanging lightbulbs and all manner of drapery, where Wiig — Sia wig, flesh-toned leotard and all — began aping the dance moves from the singer's 'Chandelier' video," MTV wrote in its review, pointing out that Sia is known for concealing her face in videos and live performances. "Ziegler joined in, the two dancing and dance-fighting as Sia stood at the back of the room, singing to the wall (as she is wont to do)."

USA Today called Wiig's performance "the best surprise" of the Grammy Awards.

Many viewers joined in the rave reviews on Twitter as well.
