Actor Kurt Russell will join the cast of the popular “Fast and Furious” film franchise.
It is unclear what role he will play, but Russell will appear in “Fast and Furious 7,” which Actor Vin Diesel confirmed by
posting a photo Tuesday of the two actors on set via his Facebook page.

“Kurt Russell, such an honor to work with” he wrote. Then added “P.s. One from the set.”
But
Russell also confirmed, perhaps by accident, his involvement during an interview with Moviefone after his new film, “The Art of The Steal,” debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival.
In response to a question, he said he was recently in Atlanta and then he dropped a spoiler about the upcoming film.
“I'd just gone down there to work with a writer,” he told Moviefone. “I was doing ‘Fast & Furious 7,’ and they're having some fun with taking a look at this new character who, at the end of it, I think we probably are gonna kill off. [Laughs] We're having a good time, and I didn't know I was going to be doing that.”
In the Facebook photo, a well-dressed and dapper looking Russell stands next to Diesel in a garage. Actor Paul Waker is also in the photo.
Diesel frequently leaks information on his Facebook page.
Screencave.com noted there have been rumors that Russell will play the evil father of Chad Lindberg’s character from the original "Fast and Furious" film.
Russell began acting at the age of 10. His films include “Escape from New York,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “The Thing,” and “Silkwood.”
Twitter fans seemed excited by the news.
