Poor Kylie Jenner isn’t rich to be a true Forbes magazine “self-made” billionaire, so a GoFundMe page has been launch seeking to raise the $100 million she needs to get there, Billboard reported.

How serious the campaign is has become anybody’s guess – after all, it was launched by a comedian – but donations have been filtering through and as of Friday morning $268 had been raised.

The campaign began a day after Forbes gave Jenner the cover for America's Richest Self-Made Women, and pegged her as on track to become the youngest self-made billionaire.

The 20-year-old, who is the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenners, boasts a net worth of $900 million, a figure that has launched her past that of her famous half-sister Kim Kardashian West.

The idea that she is a “self-made” very rich young woman has earned Forbes some ridicule, but that’s a whole different story.

Comedian Josh Ostrovsky, known for his Instagram account The Fat Jewish, decided to create the GoFundMe page for Jenner because he doesn’t want to “live in a world where Kylie Jenner doesn't have a billion dollars.”

Ostrovsky said it was “heartbreaking,” adding that it was “extremely important” to raise $100 million to “help get her to a billion.”

Joke or not, the page is trending and has drawn widespread criticism on Ostrovsky’s Instagram account, with many of his 10.5 million followers accusing him of being “sick” and “ridiculous.”

“And yet there are some stupid people out there that would contribute to this joke,” one follower said, while another said the post was “probably (maybe) the stupidest thing I'll read today.”
