Lady Gaga is taking rehearsals for Super Bowl LI so seriously that the pop star built a dance floor in her backyard so she and her dancers can practice for the upcoming Feb. 5 halftime show.
According to "Entertainment Tonight," Gaga has erected a giant white tent with a dance floor in her backyard.
“Super Bowl Rehearsal is so fun,” Gaga captioned a post on Instagram. “We built a tent in my backyard with a dancefloor (sic) to practice! We love you monsters, can’t wait to perform for u!”
Gaga appears to be in the Super Bowl spirit, as she also posted a picture of herself on Instagram wearing an NFL T-shirt.
According to the New York Post's Page Six, Gaga wants to sing from the roof of Houston’s NRG Stadium, which is where this year’s Super Bowl will be played.
A source told Page Six that the singer’s team is “writing up multiple plans about how to safely get her on the roof, including potentially [cutting] a hole in the ceiling of the dome.”
Another source said that, although Gaga wants to perform the stunt live during the halftime show, she might have to pre-record it instead.
Gaga took part in Super Bowl 50 last year when she sang the national anthem, and this time around she’ll be joining a long list of fellow artists who have graced the stage for Super Bowl halftime shows in years past.
Coldplay, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, and Beyoncé are just some of the artists who recently headlined the big gig.
The Super Bowl is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 5, in Houston.
