Lamar Odom has admitted he and ex-wife Khloe Kardashian have not spoken much since their split.

Their relationship came to a turbulent end several years ago, shortly after Odom suffered a near-fatal overdose, and in an interview on SiriusXM's "Radio Andy," the former NBA star revealed that his past behavior made it difficult for them to reconnect.

"Unfortunately, you know, due to my behavior and some bad decisions, we don't really talk any longer. I miss their family tremendously," he told host Andy Cohen, who asked whether or not Odom and Khloe were still in touch.

"She was such a presence there during some of your hardest times," Cohen said to the retired athlete.

Khloe first filed for divorce in 2013, after four years of marriage, but decided to try and give it a second chance after Odom went on a drug spree that left him in critical condition. He was found unconscious at the Love Ranch South, a legal brothel in Pahrump, Nevada, on Oct. 13, 2015, and was in critical condition for 72 hours. Khloe and her family rushed to his side. However, in 2016, Khloe went ahead with the divorce.

Three years later, in his memoir, "Darkness to Light," Odom revealed he once threatened to kill Khloe during a drug-induced rage.

"Khloé came down and knocked on the door," he wrote, according to US Weekly. "I opened it suddenly and grabbed her forcefully by the shoulders, which frightened her. 'What the f**k are you doing?' I screamed, out of my mind. 'You trying to embarrass me in front of my friends? I'll f**king kill you! You don't know what I'm capable of!'"

Odom also told ABC's "Good Morning America" that when he used cocaine it was "like unleashing a demon."

In this case, Khloe came face to face with that beast.

"I'm pretty sure she had to be scared at that point in time," he said. "I'm thinking about it now, like, I couldn't believe how I was treating that queen like that."

Odom said he owed Khloe and her family an apology.

"Her friends and family, they had to be embarrassed," he said.

In his memoir, Odom described the incident as a low point in his relationship and his life.

"I was embarrassed and ashamed . . . the most regrettable moment in a series of regrettable moments," he wrote.

His turning point came shortly after his infamous bender. He entered a rehab clinic in 2016 and says he has not taken drugs since.

"I guess I made it . . . in some peoples' eyes," he said. "But I mean . . . the ride was, was rocky, but . . . I'm here."
