Orders for the Lamborghini Huracán high-end Italian sports car have gone from zero to 700 in one month, even though it doesn't even have a price yet.

The Huracán is said to be the successor to the "entry-level" Gallardo – the company’s best-selling model, which over its 10-year lifespan sold 14,022 cars, DigitalTrends.com reported.

The Italian sports car is said to include the latest in automotive technology, with an array of impressive features from its hybrid aluminum/carbon fiber frame to its 40 valve V10 engine that has a maximum power of 8,250 RPM and maximum torque of 6,500 RPM. According to Lamborghini.com, the Huracán 610-4 can reach a max speed of 202 MPH and accelerate from 0 to 62 MPH in 3.2 seconds. In 9.9 seconds, the car can accelerate to 124 MPH.

The new sports car is also apparently environmentally friendly, netting 18.5 miles per gallon, according to AutoBlog.com.

"With its pure and unique design, an innovative technology package, outstanding dynamics and excellent quality, the Huracán offers a super sports car experience on a whole new level," Lamborghini writes in a press release. "The Huracán combines absolute performance with easy-to drive road behavior and both luxurious and sport-oriented finish. With the Huracán, Lamborghini is taking a big step into the future, and enhancing the brand's illustrious history with the next automotive legend."

There is no word yet on the price of the Lamborghini Huracán 610-4, which is scheduled to have its official debut scheduled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show on March 4, and will be released to the market later in 2014, the New York Daily News reported.

The 700 preorder figure is especially impressive considering that in 2013, Lamborghini sold just 2,121 cars total, according to DigitalTrends.com.
