Lea Michele was an absolute "nightmare" during a guest performance on “American Idol” in 2019, a source claims. The 33-year-old former "Glee" star reportedly threw a tantrum, yelled at crew members and snubbed contestants all in one day when she appeared on the show to perform "Part of Your World" in promotion of “The Little Mermaid” concert.

"She was a nightmare on Idol. One contestant asked for a picture and she didn’t even say no. She just walked away," an insider told The Sun in a report published on Tuesday. "She was yelling at the audio team saying they didn’t understand her and that she can’t go on like this. She was just a diva."

The source added that contestants and staff were excited about Michele's appearance but she was "a nightmare" to everyone.

"She is truly just awful."

The accusations come shortly after Michele came under fire for bullying and passing racially insensitive comments to former co-stars.

Earlier this month Samantha Ware, who appeared on the sixth season of "Glee," slammed Michele for making her time on the set a "living hell." Ware put forth her allegations in reply to a tweet Michele shared in tribute to George Floyd.

"Remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!?!…," Ware commented on Michele's post. "Cause I'll never forget... I believe you told everyone that if you had the opportunity you would 's*** in my wig!' amongst other traumatic microaggressions that made me question a career in Hollywood."

It was not long before other "Glee" stars came forth with their own stories of Michele.

"Girl you wouldn’t let me sit at the table with the other cast members cause 'I didn’t belong there’ f*** you Lea you don’t give a f***," tweeted Dabier Snell.

Heather Morris added that Michele was "unpleasant" to work with.

"For Lea to treat others with the disrespect that she did for as long as she did, I believe she SHOULD be called out," she tweeted.
