LI gang killings are suspected after the bodies of four men were discovered in a Central Islip park Wednesday.

Suffolk County police told Newsday the homicide victims “suffered significant trauma about their bodies" and that the remains were not skeletal, indicating the killings were likely carried out recently.

No details on the identities of the victims or the actual causes of death have been released yet, but sources say the killings appear to be gang-related, Newsday reported.

The discovery comes six weeks after a group of MS-13 gang members were indicted for the murder of two teenagers and a fellow gang member in nearby Brentwood, according to the news site.

Suffolk County Legis. Monica Martinez said the deaths this week speak to “the disregard for human life,” adding that she finds it “unfathomable.”

“The disregard for the pain, fear, and suffering the families and community will experience is uncalled for,” she said in a post on Facebook. “Lives being lost, and for what? To what end?”

According to sources, the victims are said to have been in their late teens and early 20s.

Rep. Peter King, who took to Twitter about the incident on Thursday, has reportedly said in the past that he hopes President Donald Trump will visit the LI community at some point so he can see just how bad the gang violence is, according to Newsday.
