Niemi, 57, began dating DePrisco, 58, a year and a half ago after the pair met through mutual friends at a birthday party, according to the magazine.
The actress and dancer met Swayze in 1970 when she started taking dance classes at his mother Patsy's studio. The couple wed in 1975 and Niemi stood by the actor's side throughout his pancreatic cancer diagnosis and treatments in 2008.
Swayze died in September 2009 at age 57.
A year after his death, Niemi opened up to People magazine about the possibility of finding love again.
"I would love companionship love. Absolutely. I hope I'm not one of these women who never want to have another relationship," she said. "But who knows, that's another bridge I'll cross when I come to it. I may get there and go, I don't know. But I like to think that I can."
