"Little Women: Atlanta" star Ashley "Minnie" Ross died at 34-years-old on Monday from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run car accident.
The incident took place the previous day when Ross collided with another vehicle near the Old National Highway in Atlanta, her publicist, Liz Dixson, confirmed to Fox News. The reality TV star was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital but passed away nearly 24 hours later.
"It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka 'Ms Minnie' of Little Women Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34," Ross' management team wrote in an Instagram post. "The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time."
Ross is survived by her mother, grandmother, aunt, uncle and other family members, Dixson noted.
"Ashley was a sweet and kind person with a big heart. She was an advocate for St. Jude and young women," she said, according CNN. "She will be remembered for her contagious smile."
Fellow cast members reacted to the tragic news on social media.
"This is too much!!!!!" Shirlene "Ms. Juicy" King Pearson wrote in an Instagram post. "Prayers for Minnie's family!!!" she added.
Samantha Ortiz shared a photo of the cast to Instagram along with a caption expressing her condolences.
"RIP to @msminnielwa I'm so sorry this has happened I will be praying for you and your family," she wrote. "you really never know what can happen. I'm so sorry."
