Academy Award-winner Lupita Nyong’o is the latest famous face to join the "Star Wars: Episode VII" cast, along with Gwendoline Christie from "Game of Thrones."

There were rumors in March that Nyong'o was being courted for a "Star Wars" role.

The movie, set to be released in December 2015, already features original stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill, and newer players John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and others.

"I could not be more excited about Lupita and Gwendoline joining the cast of Episode VII," Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said in a news release. "It's thrilling to see this extraordinarily talented ensemble taking shape."

Along with the cast, a “super secret” view of some of the creatures that will star in the film is making the rounds, with TMZ posting exclusive photos from the "Star Wars" movie set.

Quoting Jedi sources, TMZ reported that the huge creepy creature was operated by five men inside it.

The photos were supposedly from the set located in Abu Dhabi, which was a thrill for at least one person posting on TMZ.

“Wait a minute! I live in ABU DHABI for God's sake! How come I didn't hear about this?? I can easily find their location just from looking at these pictures. Star Wars, here I come!” the commenter said.

Others alluded to director J.J. Abrams’ and the franchise's desire for secrecy on the set and how those photos might be going over with management.

“Either this is a secret PR move from the Star Wars publicity dept or someone on that set is getting fired. There [are] even people posing! Something is up,” one person wrote.

In February, Screen Rant reported that Abrams was challenged by persistent "Star Wars" fans while trying to keep the movie under wraps.

“Are you kidding me? My god. My office ... I’m working on the 'Star Wars' script today and the people in my office have covered up all my windows with black paper,” Abrams said. “I guess they wanted to make sure no one could see what I was doing. ... It seems rather extreme.”
