Love M&Ms? Love birthday cake? You're in luck. Mars next year is releasing new birthday cake-flavored M&Ms,
the Candy Blog reports.
The blog described the flavor as “delicious milk chocolate infused with birthday cake flavor" that "creates an exciting new treat worth celebrating. Available in single serve bags and 8 ounce packages." The new treat has an availability date of May 2014.

Birthday cake is a popular flavor trend, emerging in all sorts of adult treats, USA Today said, reporting on a survey by Datamonitor.
Seventeen different products are feeding into this trend, which USA Today said is geared more toward adults than children. There’s birthday cake toothpaste and lip gloss and, yes, vodka.
“Even as kids today act more like adults, adults seem to be the same way, tapping into their inner child,” reported a director at Datamonitor.
Fox News said birthday cake milk is on the shelves, made by Shatto Milk Co. in Missouri. That special-edition milk is designed to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City, the news station reported.
And don’t forget the birthday cake pudding and Oreos and Peeps, Fox said. Just Born, the company that brings us the cute yellow chicks that have become part of Easter traditions, tested the birthday cake Peeps in Wal-Mart and they were big sellers.
