Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have acknowledged they are considering appearing in "Fuller House," the Netflix "Full House" spinoff announced by John Stamos on Monday.
“We just found out about it today,”
Mary-Kate told Women’s Wear Daily on Tuesday. “I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening.”
“I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn’t even talk about it,” Ashley told the magazine, adding that she planned to talk with him to get his perspective.
The twins shared the role of the youngest Tanner girl, Michelle, on the popular series, which is set to be reprised with a one-hour reunion special kicking off a 13-episode series to be called “Fuller House.”
Stamos announced the reboot on Monday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
Some are speculating how the twins might be incorporated into the show.
“They clearly don’t look identical anymore so we would be able to tell the difference!”

Original cast members who have signed on for the reboot include Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, and John Stamos. Discussions are ongoing with other cast members, including Bob Saget, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Dave Coulier, and Lori Loughlin.
Cameron-Bure, who played big sister D.J. Tanner,
told E! News about the new series on Tuesday night.
"My character, I am unfortunately widowed," she said. "D.J.'s had a rough life — her mom died and now her husband died. She has two boys and she's pregnant with her third, so life's tough. She needs help, so she asks Stephanie and Kimmy to come live with her and help her raise her kids. It's kind of the flip of the original 'Full House.'"
Cameron-Bure said she hopes all of the original cast members will return for the reboot.
