McDonald's customers looking to enjoy hot cakes, a hash brown, or perhaps an Egg McMuffin after midnight are in luck, as the fast food chain is launching new late-night offerings from its breakfast menu at participating 24-hour locations.
Beginning this month, the After Midnight menu will allow customers to mix and match regular and breakfast menu items to make a meal — like chicken nuggets, hash browns, and a coffee or an Egg McMuffin, fries, and a Coke — from midnight to 4 a.m.
"Our customers want convenience around the clock, and we're making it easier to eat at McDonald's with more 24-hour restaurants open than ever before," the company said in a statement.

The After Midnight menu is currently being offered in North Delaware, Del., and College Station, Texas, according to The Associated Press.
McDonald's has reportedly been testing out how breakfast items would fare as late-night staples for a while, and the response has been overwhelming.
The move to breakfast after midnight will surely help McDonald's profits, according to Scott Hume, founder of BurgerBusiness.com.
"It's indicative of how competitive things are," Hume told USA Today. "All the chains are struggling to get their numbers up."
About half the chain's 14,000 U.S. restaurants are open all the time. Most of them start serving a full breakfast menu from 5 to 10:30 a.m., though the schedule may vary by restaurant or region.
