The Mega Millions and Powerball lottery jackpots are both more than $300 million for those who are feeling super lucky this week.
The Powerball jackpot jumped to $307 million after no one picked the winning numbers of 11-21-28-33-45 with the Powerball number 11. The next Powerball drawing is at 10:59 p.m. Eastern time Wednesday, according to its website.
The Mega Millions jackpot now stands at $382 million after no matches were found for its winning number this week of 11-17-50-52-74 with the Easy Pick number 11. Mega Millions next drawing will be Friday at 11 p.m.
According to the Louisville Courier Journal, this is the first time both multi-state lotteries have had jackpots of more than $300 million at the same time in years. It also marks another sign of how the both lotteries are producing fewer winners but fatter jackpots in recent years.
The Associated Press noted that the prizes are based on annuity options, paid over 29 years. The Powerball's cash option payout would be $193 million for its current jackpot total. Mega Millions current cash payout would be $238 million.
In January 2016, Powerball gave out a record $1.56 billion jackpot to winners in California, Florida, and Tennessee, noted the Courier Journal.
Many shared their excitement about the new jackpot numbers on social media.
