Megan Fox Splits From Brian Austin Green After 10-Year Marriage

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are splitting up after 10 years of marriage. There had been rumors that their marriage was on the rocks, and Green confirmed the news Monday on his podcast "... With Brian Austin Green."

"I wanted people to hear everything from me, and this is it," the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum said, as cited by Fox News.

Trouble began last year when Fox had been filming outside the country for several weeks and upon her return admitted she had enjoyed the space.

"She said, 'You know what, I realized while I was out of the country working alone, that I feel more like myself and I liked myself better during that experience. And I think that's something that might be worth trying for me,'" Green said. "I was upset about it, but I can't be upset at her and I wasn't upset at her because she didn't ask to feel that way."

The pair, who married in 2010, decided on a trial separation but "things didn't really change." They have now decided to call it quits.

"We've had an amazing relationship, and I will always love her," Green said. "And I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family, what we've built is really cool and really special."

Addressing reports that Fox has been dating rapper Machine Gun Kelly, Green said the two were "just friends at this point."

"I don’t want people to think that her or he are villains or I was a victim in any way with any of this because I wasn't," he said. "This isn't something new for us. This is something new for people to experience and hear about in the press."

Fox and Green share three children together and will continue to spend vacations and holidays together.

"I really don’t want Megan and I to be at odds," Green continued. "She’s been my best friend for 15 years and I don’t want to lose that."
