Mel Gibson has been arrested again — in a scene for his new movie, that is.
According to TMZ, Gibson was spotted in New Mexico on Monday shooting scenes for his upcoming film, "Blood Father."
The movie tells the story of an ex-convict who reunites with his estranged 16-year-old daughter, who herself has become a target for drug dealers. The film is set for a 2015 release, and also features actor William H. Macy and "American Hustle" star Elisabeth Rohm.
Making cracks about the jail scene, TMZ wrote "We're guessing Mel didn't have to method act this scene," and
The Daily Mail said, "he likely didn't need much direction when it came to shooting the scenes."

The two-time Oscar winner has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since his DUI arrest in 2006, at which time he launched into an anti-Semitic, profanity-laden rant to the cops. He's clearly bent on making a comeback, however.
Not only does he have Macy, Rohm, and "Blood Father" director Jean-Francois Richet on his side, but Gary Oldman also came out of the woodwork to defend him in a recent
interview with Playboy magazine.
"I don't know about Mel. He got drunk and said a few things, but we've all said those things," the 56-year-old actor told the magazine during an interview to promote "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes."
"We're all f-----g hypocrites. That's what I think about it. The policeman who arrested him has never used the word 'n----r' or 'that f-----g J--'? I'm being brutally honest here. It's the hypocrisy of it that drives me crazy."
Oldman was apparently trying to make a point about political correctness and hypocrisy, but it definitely came off feeling like a defense of Gibson's behavior.
