Michelle Obama changed into her pajamas on election night, but not to sit up in bed to watch the polls. No, she actually went to bed.

As an election victory for Hillary Clinton slipped more and more out of reach as the night went on, Michelle didn’t wait for the final results. Instead, she got in bed, according to New York magazine.

In an interview with People magazine, the Obamas were asked about what the election night was like for them. Michelle quickly responded, saying “I went to bed.”

“I don’t watch debates, don’t like to watch the political discourse – I never have,” she said.

“I barely did with him,” she added as she looked over at President Obama.

The first lady was one of Hillary Clinton’s most vocal supporters on her campaign trail, People magazine noted.

She said she still has concerns about President-elect Donald Trump even as he and his transition team prepare to enter the White House in January, CNN noted.

“Anything that I felt about the election I said and I stand by,” she said, adding that she and her husband are still committed to ensuring that the president-elect and his administration have a smooth transition into office.

“This is our democracy, and this is how it works,” she said. “We are ready to work with the next administration and make sure they are as successful as they can be. Because that’s what’s best for this country.”
