By    |   Tuesday, 24 June 2014 09:08 AM EDT

Miguel Herrera, head coach for Mexico's World Cup team, has become something of a cult hero after his colorful reaction to his team's 3-1 victory over Croatia went viral Monday.

Sweaty and red-faced, Herrera jumped up and down on the sidelines, flung himself on top of striker Raul Jimenez, and swept goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa off his feet in a bear hug.

His raw, unfiltered emotion — mirrored on Twitter in the form of 40 exclamation points — instantly made him a World Cup celebrity online.

In true Internet form, Herrera soon had his own meme.

Mexico will take on the Netherlands in the next round of the World Cup on Sunday.
